Second Life

About a week ago I became a member of Second Life. I have heard about second life but I really never knew what it was all about.  I first heard about it on an episode of “The Office” when one of the characters (Dwight Shrute) made himself in second life.  Anyways, I named my virtual self Merv MacMoragh. I was confused on how to work second life at first and it seemed to lag a lot due to internet connection and what not, but eventually I was able to roam around and figure things on my own.  I have been playing around with second and just going to different places.  I teleported to some sort of island with a bunch of different house on it. There was a large mansion type house and some sort of Oriental looking home. I thought that was cool.  I didn’t see anyone though. Later I teleported to a clothing store.  It was more like a street with a bunch of clothing stores. I looked around and even saw a suit that i wanted but I couldn’t afford it.  Even  my second life character is broke like me! Furthermore I roamed around the street and ended up in a sewer where I saw two super hero looking people. There was a guy and a girl hanging out down there wearing capes.  They seemed nice.  This virtual world is interesting and I’m ready to explore it more.
