Final Project Details

For the final project I will be doing a music video. The song is Cold Cold Cold by Cage the Elephant. I will be working by myself but will have help from people outside the class. The song is about the narrator struggling with his absence of feeling anything. The video will be about a guy or girl struggling with these thoughts and feelings. I plan on shooting during bright sunny days to counter the inner thoughts they are having. There is a part in the song where they feel worse during the day than the night. I am going to include a masked figure or multiple to represent the narrator’s emptiness. The emptiness is portrayed by the figures blank expressions. I have dslr that I am going to use to film. The song is about 3:32 so I plan on making the film that long. The whole mask thing is included because I dream about masks a lot and think people are always wearing a mask to hide their feelings from the world.
