For this project I am going to carry on the sme theme from the first project and enhance it into a better display. I used the Pepsi brand for my first project and created a display for Pepsi, for this project I want to take my display and add to it and make it better because I have done some basic research already and now I want to get more indepth with it and create a display family that flows well together. The reson I am picking refreshments as my display is because when I went out to take pictures I found that most of the displays were very boring and not very eye appealing and there was no fun in the designs in the stores.
The image above is a display that I saw and again it is very simple and boring. I know that it gets the job done but there are so many possibilities to make it better and that is what I want to accomplish in my brand designs for this project.
This image is a perfect example of just not trying or caring. This was thrown together and it looks bad to the eye. This is exactly what i was to keep away from.
After going to a couple of stores and not being able to find and designs that stood out to me I decided to go online and see some of the more thought out examples that I could find.
These displays are more fun and appealing to the eye. I don’t know how this may affect the sales of the product but I’m sure it does not hurt them. You can tell that the time and thought was put into these ideas and this is along the lines of what I want to be able to portray when I create my display.
For my display I am going to use the Pepsi brand and try to incorporate the different refreshments that they have to offer such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, and all the other drinks they may offer
