This first image shows “high visual intensity” because of the contrast and saturation in the image as well as the vast depth of field.  It tells an entire story in one image.

The second image that I have of a Xenon light bulb represents “low visual intensity” because of the analogous nature of the color and the flatness of the image. 

Both images are beautiful in their own way which is important when considering what high and low visual intensity means over all.  The image doesn’t have to be boring if it is flat.  You just want certain images to stand out in different ways.

ISO stands for Internalized Standards Organization.  It is the setting on a camera that interprets the camera’s sensitivity to light.
