Kaptur to Host Student “Town Hall” Meeting at BGSU Firelands

ATTENTION EDITORS, NEWSROOM MANAGERS, AND PHOTOGRAPHERS: All media personnel are invited to the Bowling Green State University Firelands College campus on Monday, Sept. 26, during a planned visit by US Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur. Scheduled events include a brief tour of campus, a classroom discussion, and a student “Town Hall” meeting.
Events are as follows:
9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Tour of the BGSU Firelands campus. Highlights will include the Teaching and Learning Center, Regional Incubator for Sustainability and Entrepreneurship, and the Clasen Welcome Center.
9:30 a.m. – 10:10 a.m. Congresswoman Kaptur will speak to students enrolled in Political Science 1100 – America Government: Processes and Structure with Assistant Professor Stephanie Walls in the Cedar Point Center, Room 2004.
10:15 a.m. – 11 a.m. “Town Hall” style meeting with BGSU Firelands students in the Pit Area of West Building.
