On August 7 Bowling Green State University Firelands College students will participate in a pinning ceremony in conjunction with their attainment of an associate of applied science degree in radiologic technology or diagnostic medical sonography.
“We are proud of our graduates who have completed the program and have chosen to work in an admirable profession for the delivery of healthcare,” said BGSU Firelands Sonography Program Director Cara Vickery.
The graduates have completed a rigorous program that included a two-year clinical internship and they have earned the right to take the national registry exam.
“Many of these students will continue their education in advanced placement for
vascular and cardiac sonography, radiation therapy, mammography, CAT scan, or MRI, and will work toward a bachelor’s degree. We congratulate them all,” said BGSU Firelands Radiology Program Director Sylvia Fedro.
