Sandusky resident receives scholarship to attend BGSU Firelands
Huron, Ohio – Elvira Wobser of Sandusky has received the Firelands Campus Direct Scholarship to attend Bowling Green State University Firelands College. She will receive $3,000 towards tuition for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Established in 2010, this endowed fund supports full- or part-time BGSU Firelands students in nursing or allied health programs. Students must have successfully completed at least one semester and demonstrate financial need.
Wobser is a 2005 graduate of Bashkir Lyceum #136 in Russia where she played basketball and took ethnic Russian folk dance.
She is a senior majoring in nursing at BGSU Firelands.
Wobser is married to Anthony Wobser of Sandusky.

Dunn is a 2014 graduate of St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School where she was on the honor roll. She played basketball, volleyball, and softball. Dunn volunteered her time to the high school concession stand, homecoming and art show set-up, and biddy basketball. She was a member of Youth Elect Services, Teen Leadership Corp, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She participated in Goodwill clothing drives and is a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Dunn is a junior majoring in radiologic technology at BGSU Firelands.
She is the daughter of Angela and Mark Dunn of Sandusky.

Milan resident receives scholarship to attend BGSU Firelands

Danda is a 2015 graduate of Edison High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She received the Coaches Pride Award, Three Sport Award, 3-Year Varsity Award in cross-country, 4-Year Varsity Award in track, and 2-Year Varsity Award in basketball. Danda was team captain and 2nd Team All SBC in cross country. She was a member of Spanish Club, Interact Club, choir, and Varsity Club.
Danda is a sophomore majoring in nursing at BGSU Firelands where she is on the Dean’s List.
She is the daughter of Jaime and Jonathon Danda of Milan.

Sberna is a 2013 graduate of Bellevue High School.
He is a senior majoring in applied health science and radiologic technology at BGSU Firelands where he is on the Dean’s List. Sberna has received the Society of the Flame Award, Outstanding Student Employee Team Member Award, and the Building Block Award. He is the Radiologic Technology Student Club president, a former member of Student Government, and has participated in theatre.
Sberna is the son of Tammy and Walter Sberna of Bellevue.
