Huron, Ohio – Bowling Green State University Firelands College has announced they will offer an opportunity for prospective students to complete the majority of their enrollment needs at a ‘one-stop’ event on Thursday, August 13 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event is designed for students who are transferring from another college, re-enrolling at BGSU Firelands after a lengthy absence, or are enrolling at the Huron-based college for the first time.

Prospective students can be admitted to the college, register for classes, speak with financial aid counselors, and complete assessment testing if needed – all in one night.

BGSU Firelands is also offering an application fee waiver for prospective students who enroll during this special event.

College administrators are reminding prospective students that they must bring specific documents for an on-site admission decision to be made on the same evening; however, if the prospective students do not have the necessary documentation, they are still encouraged to attend.

Prospective students should bring high school and/or college transcripts.  Transfer students who have less than 30 semester hours or 45-quarter hours, and new students, should bring high school transcripts.  ACT/SAT results are NOT required.

No appointments are necessary and everyone is welcome.  The event is being held in the BGSU Firelands Cedar Point Center on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m.  For additional information, individuals may call the Office of Admissions at 419.372.0607 or refer to the web site at www.firelands.bgsu.edu/admissions/quickenroll.html
