February 14, 2012 | Leave a Comment
Huron, Ohio – On Tuesday, Feb. 21, Bowling Green State University Firelands College will host two free sessions open to the community on creating, building, and maintaining good credit.
“For Better or Worse: Married to Your Credit” is sponsored by BGSU’s Student Money Management Services and offers helpful information and advice for not only students, but anyone interested in maintaining good credit.
According to Student Money Management Services Program Manager Patricia Donnelly, “It’s important to demonstrate to people that the decisions you make today will affect future financial outcomes. For example, if you think you may buy a home in five years, it’s important to think about your credit today.”
Topics for the sessions include using credit wisely, assessing your current debt, tips to maintain or improve credit, and what to do if things get out of control.
Free and open to the public, “For Better or Worse: Married to Your Credit” will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at both 11 a.m. and 12 noon. Both sessions will be held in BGSU Firelands West Building Room 115.
