BG Reports

My name is Simone Jackson. Originally, I am from Clinton, Md. I moved to Sandusky, Ohio my freshman year of high school. I am 18 and a junior at Bowling Green State University. I am majoring in print journalism and double minoring in entrepreneurship and international business.

I interned at the Sandusky Register while in high school. Currently, I am a reporter for The BGNews and I hope to start writing columns for the paper this semester. In addition to being journalism student, I work as  a residence hall tour guide on campus and am involved in various student organizations.

 My career goal is to become a foreign correspondent for a major newspaper or magazine and  travel the world reporting on international events.
