I’m a sophomore at Bowling Green State University where I’m majoring in journalism with a specialization in public relations. I’m originally from Monclova, Ohio, a small town near Bowling Green.
At school, I work as an resident advisor and a tour guide. I also work at a pet store in Toledo, Ohio. I’ve written for The BG News and am currently looking at other ways to gain practical journalism experience. At this time, I don’t know exactly what I’d like to do with my degree, but the idea of working with non-profits and other organizations really excites me.
I’m hoping this blog will help me to build upon the knowledge I’ve been gaining about this interesting and diverse career field.
