BG Reports

I’m a broadcast journalist student from Romeo, Mich.  I am involved in three organizations on campus which are Alpha Phi, BG 24 News and The National Society of Leadership and Success.  I am the alumnae relations chair for Alpha Phi and am very involved with this organization.  I was a writer for BG 24 News last semester and hope to get more involved this semester.  With BG 24 News I am hoping to learn skills that will help me further my education of the television industry.

This summer a goal of mine is to get an internship with a news station either in Detroit or Toledo.  I want to continue working with a television station this summer to obtain more experience.  Another goal I have is to do an internship abroad.  Learning about the broadcast industry in another country would be a great opportunity.  My long term goal is to be able to work for an international broadcasting company.
