I believe Jim Cramer is an expert at what he does. He has a graduate’s degree from Harvard which gives him credibility. He even went back to Harvard to receive his Juris Doctor degree. Jim began to trade stock on the open network. After a while he became a stockbroker and traded more stock. Based off his show, I would not declare Jim an expert on stock market analysis. Based off his credentials, I would definitely call Jim an expert. I think his show can be misleading but the facts he gives are true. He aims towards the younger generation with his crazy antics on the show. It would be easier to understand him if he would clarify on some of his tips.
Once I finished watching the Jon Stewart interview, I believe Jim is still an expert. Jim tries to explain why he acts a certain way on his show and defends his reasons. Although Jon keeps giving Jim grief, Jim does what he knows will attract attention by younger investors in the market. Jim is clearly justified to run his show as he likes because he has the experience. He’s made millions of dollars, so I think he can give out expertly advice to those who seek it. Even though Jon accuses Jim for giving false information, Jon doesn’t really prove it. I don’t think Jim was trying to give false information to the public, but he is human and can make mistakes. While Jim was defaced by Jon, Jim was calm and answered all oh Jon’s questions.
