Unit 1
For unit 1 were were asked to do two assignments related to our personal literacies. For the first assignment we were asked to create a visual representation of our many and varied literacy practices. I choose to construct a poster board with images of my daily literacies. I put pictures of me doing literacy acts at school, at home, and as a coach.
For the second assignment we were asked to create a literacy narrative which narrarated a specific literacy event, sponsor or emotion. I chose to write my literacy narrative about my experience as a basketball coach. In the narrative I talked about the importance of literacy in coaching, and provided examples of literacy acts that I performed when coaching.
