Rhetorical Analysis
This project required students to analyze a Public Service Announcement. I chose to analyze a PSA produced by The Public Transportation Institute, entitled School Bus Safety. This type of analytical writing will allow writers to think critically in the future when approaching their own writing, with understanding the functions of rhetorical elements. This assignment analyzes the audience of the PSA, the message and delivery of the PSA, the appeals used by the author(s), including ethos, pathos and logos, and also addresses specific limitations to the PSA.
