My plans while at Bowling Green State University are to find enriching public relations and social media management internships while I earn my journalism degree with a specialization in public relations. As for after graduation I am keeping my options open. I am very passionate about beauty and fashion, progressive city planning, and community relations. So narrowing down one industry I’d like to work in this early feels nearly impossible.
On campus, I am a member of The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) where I learn skills to prepare myself for a career in the field of public relations. Our chapter focuses heavily on networking and developing professional relationships with business people to set our members up for success when entering the job market. I am also a new member of Alpha Xi Delta, a greek life organization on campus. In my sorority I get the opportunity to volunteer for many different charitable causes and to work on various boards and committees. Since I am a new member I haven’t gotten the chance to have a leadership role yet, but in the future I hope to manage and create content for the sorority’s social media page
