Week 6…Finishing Project One
This week I am finishing the template for the church newsletter and getting this turned over to my client. I am excited to see this used and to see how my client adjusts to this change they’ve been wanting to make for some time now (as I previously mentioned in week 5 post). I am anxious and a bit nervous to start on my next project, which will begin the first stages next week of the website for client. This is going to be a much larger/much more time consuming project. For now I will focus on finishing this project at hand!

Good Luck to you on the website. Time consuming is right! I myself am nervous for my food/drink photo shoot. I struggle with web so I envy you for taking on that task. I hope your steps in planning have allowed you to have enough time to complete the website. Even if the website isn’t completely up to status at the deadline, maybe you can get the most basic stuff done and fix the small details after the semester is over, don’t stress yourself out too much!

It’s nice to see that you’ve gotten through your first project with your client, which should be good motivation moving forward since there’s one less thing you have to take care of now. I can attest as to how time consuming creating a website is (since that’s where my specific focus is as far as VCT is concerned) and I hope that your client is easy to manage when it comes to ideas for the site, because I’ve found that the better you can cooperate with a client on ideas for a website, the faster its creation will ultimately be.

This is so true, and that things that we take for granted that we know (say in web design) is not nearly as easy or straight forward to our clients, so we have to know to take the time to teach them how to update the site.
