Apple Trade Show
Research Brief:
The organization that I will create a trade show display for will be APPLE.
Apple products are usually displayed in an environment where individuals can freely interact with them. When entering an Apple Store or visiting the Apple booth at a trade show, individuals can play with the equipment as if it was there own. By doing this, it allows the customer to try the product before investing the money into the product. The in-store displays for Apple are simple and clean. Most ads only have a photo and a short message about the product.
When looking at the competitors of Apple, mainly P.C. manufactures like Sony, HP, and Dell, they all have their own display set up. Although their trade show booths may display their product, there is little to no interaction with an individual. When looking at the Sony tradeshow, you can easily see that there is nothing to interact with.
For the display, I choose to go with the Hi-Line 10×20 Option 2. I felt that it displays all the items well, gives customers enough room to interact with the product, and is fairly simple to attract attention.
Apple was founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. In the beginning their products had a hard time catching on due to Microsoft. Over the years Apple has been considered to be one of the most reliable computers built. Even though the price is more then a standard computer, the reliability is untouchable. Today, Apple makes laptops, desktops, music devices, and tablet web-browsers.
When creating this display, I want it to be simple and roomy. I want customers to walk up to the products, try them out, and gain some knowledge of how great that machine is. I plan on promoting this display to individuals of all ages.
