A B!G thank you to Dr. Barb Toth for leading our workshop on resumes and cover letters. A lot of great information and tips were given on how one can improve the language, layout and style, and the information included in both resumes and cover letters.
Barb reminded us that using different font styles (besides Times New Roman) and a well crafted and consistent layout can make your resume more pleasing to the readers’ eye.
Thanks to Writing Consultant, Beth Dutridge, who reminded us that strong, confident language should be used in both a resume and cover letter.
Thanks to Writing Consultant, David McClure, who shared with us great advice on how to keep a cover letter short and sweet.
This session was very interesting! Again, a big thank you goes to Barb, for taking the time to share her knowledge with us.
Here are some good cover letter examples you can use: Cover Letter Examples. Helps a bit to see examples when writing.
Thanks for the invitation but the date has already past before I read this post but anyways, Thanks for the post anyway.
