“Literature from Many Cultures: A Sharing”

November 12th, 2008

Please join us for our tenth workshop this fall, as we take a day to honor our international students here at BGSU.  “Literature from Many Cultures: A Sharing,” will be hosted by Karen Craigo, GSW instructor and nationally acclaimed poet and editor of the Mid-American Review.

We encourage any students, staff, or faculty, who would like to share a short reading, to attend.  Our hope is to learn a little more about writing and literature from other cultures and in other languages.  We hope to see you there!

“How to use PowerPoint More Effectively: Technological and Rhetorical Strategies”

Please join us for our ninth workshop this fall, “How to Use PowerPoint More Effectively: Technological and Rhetorical Strategies.”

Pa’Trice Owens, technology support specialist, and Jeremy Schnieder, General Studies Writing instructor, will be our presenters.  The technological and rhetorical expertise of the two presenters, plus their extensive experience with PowerPoint, makes this a session not to be missed.

If you are new to PowerPoint, or if you want tips on how to create more effective presentations, this session is for you!  Students, faculty and staff will find this session useful.
