Understanding Taxes Student Site has 38 student lessons, which are divided into two content areas: the Hows of Taxes and the Whys of Taxes. The Hows of Taxes shows you how to apply tax principles, and the Whys of Taxes explains tax history and theory.

It offers a 3-D map for the students to look at and offers resources about space, Earth, the Sun, the solar system, and people and technology.  For teachers and parents, it offers games and activities that are useful to teach about space.

Franklin Institute: Educational Hotlists offers online resources for teachers and students about science. Students can access information about animals, biology, earth science, health, insects, mathematics, oceans, physical science, and space science. The site also offers professional development services and science content workshop information for teachers.

You can explore more that 40 activities and watch over 40 short videos that bring global issues to life. The site is great for research and has helpful homework tools.

Population Reference Bureau is the place to go to receive demographic data and timely reports to aid students in their research on population trends. The site provides many articles, videos, lesson plans, teacher’s guides, and a glossary of terms.
