WEB 2.0: Research Tool
I will like to know how web 2.0 can be used as a platform to conduct some part of my research on HIV/AIDS(Data Colection). I welcome input from you all.

As I had no idea what exactly web 2.0 is, I am coming in with an open mind and hoping to enrich my knowledge on technologies that we can utilize in the classroom. I would like to learn from other members on how to incorporate web 2.0 in my classroom and to do so successfully. Next semester, I am teaching IPC 205, same as now, and would love to make it a bit different than now. SL, bg blogs, or wiki… still deciding and thinking what is best. So hopefully, I can get feedback on what is productive to use and what students learn best from. I welcome all comments and suggestions on how, what, and when to use web 2.0 in my classroom. Thanks folks!

I’m so glad to be here…virtually…
I am an Associate Professor in the Digital Arts Division in the School of Art. I teach classes on interactive multimedia and animation therefore I use and create web applications but I want to be part of this community because I really love hearing how others are using the technology. I get a lot of ideas from others in the community. I also want to push myself and use some Web 2.0 apps that I have never used.
Hi, everyone! Beside learning the WEB 2.0 tools, I would like to learn more and practice the ways we can employ this application as teaching tools in classrooms as well.
Hello everybody! I’m psyched to be working with all of you! I’ve set up my own BGSU blog, and started posting pieces of my diss to it as I work on them. Any feedback anyone has would be welcome!
Hi all,
I am very much looking forward to participating in the Web. 20 LC this year. My goals are to think through (and imagine) ways to build digital technologies into the courses I teach. I’ve used blogs in courses before with some success, but I don’t feel I’m using them as thoughtfully or as effectively as I could. So…here I am.
I’ve been giving thought to what I want to tackle as a deliverable for my work in the learning community. I think I might develop two projects: some sort of technology for a doctoral seminar on writing assessment I’ll teach next semester (a blog? a wiki?), and the same for an undergraduate course on teaching writing to high school and middle grade students. The writing assessment seminar will be somewhat unique for me because we’ll be collaborating with another class at another university, so I want to think through how 2.0 technology could support (and extend) what we want to do in the course. That will be my first focus, then–developing something for the assessment course.
Hi! This is Deepa. I am here to learn more about web 2,0 technologies and how they can be used effectively in the classroom.
