Library mural from skylightWelcome new faculty!

The library offers a number of services to help faculty with their teaching and research. They include:

Library instruction. Bring your class to the library and let a librarian teach them about tools and resources to help them complete their class assignments. Contact your instruction liaison to learn more.

OhioLINK borrowing. New this summer, faculty have extended loan periods for OhioLINK books. Learn more here.

Interlibrary loan and document delivery. Can’t find what you need at BGSU? In addition to OhioLINK book borrowing, ILLiad allows BGSU students and faculty to borrow books from outside the state of Ohio and request articles that can be delivered electronically. Create your ILLiad account today!

Course reserves. If you would like to put a book on reserve for your class, either one from the library’s collections or one you own, contact reserves. Electronic reserves are also available.

Link to our electronic materials. It’s easy to create links to articles in our databases and add them to your syllabi, course website, and Blackboard. This guide explains how.

These are just a few of the many services the Libraries offer faculty! Visit our faculty guide to learn more.
