July 3rd, 2012 · No Comments · Resources

Center for Research Libraries logoThis spring, the Center for Research Libraries (an organization that makes research collections available to member libraries, and of which BGSU is a member) announced that, beginning in July, CRL and the Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering and Technology in Kansas City will work together to preserve and develop historical research collections in the fields of science, technology and engineering.

By the end of 2012, all of CRL’s and Linda Hall’s science, technology and engineering print serials will be available electronically to all CRL libraries in the United States, including BGSU, through on-demand digitization and document delivery through Interlibrary Loan.

The collections covered by the partnership include current and back issues of over 50,000 journal titles. More details about this arrangement are available here.

What does this mean for BGSU researchers? More on-demand access to the last 60 years of published research in the sciences, technology and engineering.
