So I have finished my design and HTML structure, I am currently turning it into a wordpress theme. I have already completed the home page and I have even managed to get Twitter Bootstrap to work in the theme. I am re-writting parts of the loop so that most of the content can be dynamic. I am also creating custom fields for posts so that my client can update the website on her own. If I have time I will create a business twitter account for her and pull her content dynamically to create a newsfeed of her current projects.

The website is going well. I am currently working locally to fix any bugs before I make the site go live. After my in person meeting with my client we got alot of the specifics taken care of and I have a full direction on how the site should look.

I will be meeting with my client so that we can go over the mock ups together. So far, she likes the first one but also like things in the others. We are going to finalize them all into a single mock up at the meeting. For the time being, I will be developing the framework of the website using Bootstrap 2.0, Bootstrap is easily the best developer framework out right now, it includes HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery plugins built right in to custom classes.

I have another mockup this time, you will notice that most of the colors follow the same theme. This is because I want to keep it as standard as possible. The colors can change, if gray changes to blue, all gray’s in that tone will change to blue on multiple mock ups

Mockups Update

Although my client liked my mockup, I realized how much I hated it. I must have been drunk when I thought it looked nice. I told her that I am working on three more and then I will let her choose. I also have decided to create logos for her. Here are the logos and here is one of the new mock ups. There will be two more updated by thursday and she will decided which logo and mockup or mixture we will use. This mockup is a thin style, it is very basic and more features can be added. I left it thin without the need to be responsive. If viewed on mobile devices it will look great.

I have finally finished my design layout for my client. Although, I haven’t started anything digitally I have the right direction in my quest. I will post the photoshop mockups by the end of this week, I will also post whatever needed changing per the clients request.

I have been contacting my client through email and clearing up all the odds and ends of what she needs done. I am going to be redesigning her website from scratch. It is located at systems-sculpture.com. Whoever built the first website was very boring. My client is sending me a bunch of her pictures so that I can get a feel for the type of artwork she does. Thats when I will start the mockups
