2009 Record and Book Sale

The Record and Book Sale will be on December 11 from 9:30 am – 9:00 pm.  We’re departing from the two-day format we’ve had in past years in favor of having one long day in which we hope people will be able to fulfill all of their record-shopping dreams.

As ever, the sale will be in the Pallister Conference Room on the first floor of Jerome Library on the Bowling Green State University campus.  See our directions page for information on how to get here and where to park.  There are a limited number of metered parking spots in the lot on the North side of the building; most of these take quarters only.

We’ll have all the usual formats at unbeatable prices:

Off campus payment by cash or check.
BGSU students, faculty, and staff may also charge on their BG1 Card.

Record Sale: Thanks!

The Music Library and Sound Recordings Archives and Browne Popular Culture Library wish to extend hearty thank yous to everyone who helped maked this another blockbuster year for our book and record sale.  We are especially grateful to the staff whose dedicated in-front and behind-the-scenes assistance allowed it to be successful.

2006 Record and Book Sale

The Music Library and Sound Recordings Archives and the Browne Popular Culture Library will once again be conducting their annual blockbuster record and book sale. It will be held in the Pallister Conference Room on the first floor of the William T. Jerome Library on the Bowling Green State University main campus, Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2, 2006. The hours will be 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Friday and 10:30 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday.

Included in the sale for the Music Library will be sound recordings (LPs, 45s, 78s, CDs, cassettes, and 8-tracks), books, magazines, sheet music. The Popular Culture Library will be selling books, magazines, comic books, paperbacks, and fanzines.

Prices:

LPs and CDs — 50 cents each and priced
Sheet music — 50 cents each
Cassettes and 8 tracks — 25 cents each
Books — priced individually
Magazines — 50 cents each
Comic books — 25 cents each
Fanzines — 50 cents each

Personal checks are accepted, and purchases may be charged to a Bursar Account (for BGSU affiliates). No charges are accepted.
