My experience with developing online courses
I have been developing online courses for more than 5 years and I really enjoy it. Computers and the internet have changed the way people are learning and I view online as a way to enhance our curriculum while reaching out to a new generation of students on their turf.
A few rules that I have noted is that often simple is better when it comes to online. Also, better organization and clearly defined outcomes will help students make the most of their course.

ABC3D pop-up book
i saw this video on boing boing today and thought it was the coolest idea for a pop-up book. i have been reading more and more about new pop-up books, but i am have a hard time finding them. the last pop-up book i bought was Christmas in New York: A Pop-Up Book. it is really cool and you should check it out if you get the chance.
