The Association for Women in Sports Media is pleased to announce the opening of our 2016 summer internship/scholarship program.
Starting Sept. 1, college students may visit the online application to begin applying for newspaper/online, magazine, broadcast, broadcast production and PR internships. The application process will close on Oct. 31.
Since 1990, AWSM has placed more than 140 female college students interested in sports media in paid summer internships. All interns receive a $1,000 scholarship and complimentary registration and lodging at AWSM’s annual convention, scheduled for July 28-31 in Miami.
