WEWS NewsChannel 5 is now accepting application materials for the JoAnne Robinson Memorial Scholarship established in 1999 to honor the memory of Executive Producer JoAnne Robinson. The scholarship is open to African-American college students who aspire to become broadcast journalists.
We are looking forward to receiving application materials from students for the 2015 Scholarship Award. Please see the attached brochure, which outlines scholarship information and application procedures. Please note that there is no application form for this scholarship, all items required for consideration are listed in the attached brochure. Deadline to submit information for consideration is February 28, 2015.
