Bob Bortel, director of student media, has been busy promoting a Toledo Press Club panel on fake news that will be held Feb. 25. Bortel, who was featured on WTOL-11 in Toledo on the morning show, will moderate the panel of local journalists, including BGSU assistant professor Saif Shahin. The panel discussion is part of a series of Pressing Issues forums designed to discuss issues of relevance to regional media and public relations practitioners.
