Toledo Press Club Awards

Bowling Green students Aaron Parker, Annie Furia, Erica Heck and Hannah Benson represented the University at the Oct. 8 Press Club of Toledo Touchstone Awards. Annie Furia was the recipient of a $1,000 Bernard Judy Scholarship as well as being a nominee for a Touchstone award in student journalism. 2015 graduate William Channell won the Excellence in Journalsim Award-- Student Print for his article, "City of Toledo revitalizes polluted areas, buildings,” which focused on regional efforts to clean up a wide variety of contaminated brownfield sites that exist in the area.
