History Society hosted Sufi Laghari and Michael Volk for a public presentation on the Sindh in Pakistan on February 24th.
The talk was part of an academic tour organized by the Sindhi American Political Action Committee with the goals of making the public and campus audiences acquainted with the pluralistic cultural heritage of the Sindh region, its status in present-day Pakistan, and US policy toward Pakistan.
Sufi Laghari is executive director of the Sindhi American Political Action Committee. Michael Volk is an alum of the BGSU History and Political Science majors; he is currently an intern in the SAPAC and graduate student at the American University.
