As mentioned in the news, the newest National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) update on the status of Iraq’s Stability has been released.  This majority of the report is classified but an unclassified summary is available.

The Department of Education has issued a report on the Affordability of College Textbooks.

The newest Terrorist Threat report released by the Office of National Intelligence July 17, 2007, suggests that the US Homeland will face a persistent and evolving terrorist threat over the next three years.

Governor Ted Strickland issued a directive on Thursday, August 2, 2007, calling for an overhaul of Ohio’s higher education system to better coordinate the work of collectes, adult career centers, and adult basic-literacy programs.

The directive calls for the higher education system to be renamed the University System of Ohio and to come up with a 10 year plan to improve institutional quality and affordability.  As part of the transformation announced on Thursday, the higher education system has launched a new web site.
