For Sure
Keeping plenty busy for sure. Getting module 4 put together, taking another look at my resume, and editing the photos I shot for my client. Looks like I’ve got my work cut out for me.
I can’t believe how quickly the Summer Session is going. I was up in BG visiting a friend for the weekend, and I stopped at the Grad Fair to pick up my cap and gown.
Progress is going steady on the projects. My client was on vacation last week, so I had work through some issues on my own. I ended up changing the format of two of the brochures because there was not enough content to fill up all of the panels of a tri-fold. She wanted the tri-fold size so they would fit in the brochure rack. I changed the format to an 8″ x 8.5″ bi-fold brochure. That way, it will be the same size when folded, and I didn’t need to stretch all of the elements and add unnecessary stuff to maximize space usage. I took the initiative to switch it up early in the week, and was able to talk to her about it briefly on Friday. She agreed that it seemed like a better solution than the tri-fold.

I just reviewed the assignment description for Module 3, and it looks as though I’ve got my work cut out for me. I thought the example provided was well done and eye catching. Lets get this thing started.
The wrapping up of Module 2 has come to a screeching halt due to the fact that I have to work at 5:00 tonight. Looks like I’ll have to take another stab at it a little later tonight.
Ohhh, there are just not enough hours in the day/week. Unfortunately, I have to sleep too, so I’m headed to bed. Hoping to get an early start on things tomorrow.
The Module 2 article is definitely not an easy read. Reading alongside a dinner of Chinese carryout, wondering which will be easier to digest.
Thinking of who I am going to contact for the cost breakdown. I’ve done a co-op at a photo studio that I am going to call up tomorrow.
Managed to secure a client. Originally I was talking to a car dealership in Louisville, Kentucky that is owned by my neighbor’s family. That didn’t work out, but my backup may turn out better anyway.
Whew, it has been an interesting week. Getting back into the groove of managing school and work has proven quite a task. FInding my client has been a bit of an experience, but I’ve managed to come up with a few potential options. I’m talking with my neighbor about the possibility of working with a car dealership in Kentucky. I haven’t secured them yet, but my fingers are crossed.
