Teach Your Students About Rosa Parks

     On Dec. 1, 1955 Mrs. Rosa Parks was arrested for disobeying an Alabama law.  The Montgomery Bus Boycott soon followed which led to the Supreme Court banning segregation on public transportation.  We have many wonderful titles about Mrs. Parks’ life that you can share with students of all ages.

   It’s the home stretch for classwork, and at the CRC we want you to finish strong.  After you return from the old home place full of turkey and stuffing (or the feast food of your choice) unpack and head over to the CRC and get that lesson finished!

Math Literature Children’s Books

We have an extensive collection of children’s literature related to math.  From preschool through high school find titles in both our nonfiction and fiction collections.  Check out this handy Libguide or the BGSU catalog for the perfect book for you your lesson. 

Veterans’ Day: We’re Open 1 to 5

Stop in today for teaching aids, lamination, and die cutting.  The CRC is open Veterans’ Day from 1:00 to 5:00 and the open area is available for book checkout until 6:00 pm.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever

Greg Heffley is back this week in his sixth adventure in Diary of a Wimpy Kid:  Cabin Fever.  Stop by the CRC and pick up your free commemorative pencil celebrating our favorite fifth grader!
