News from the Curriculum Resource Center

Today we welcome the new Head Librarian to the Curriculum Resource Center, Linda Kramer.  Our featured book is Welcome to the Zoo! by Allison Jay JUV J241w.

Today we spotlight The Retired Kid by Jon Agee.  Eight year old Brian takes a spin as a retired person at Happy Sunset Retirement Community in Florida.  We at the CRC wish Brian and all retirees everywhere a great retirement and many happy sunsets.

The summer day campers on campus stopped by the CRC today to help wish the University a Happy 100th Birthday. After reading a story together about celebrating birthdays, they learned about the Centennial Trees and counted rings on a log to determine it’s age. The campers also made birthday cards for the University which are posted on the CRC bulletin board.
