Very true. studies shows that there are no difference whatsoever with quality of both tap and bottled water. you only need a good quality water filter to have a safe drinking water. so what filter are you using?

One thing not mentioned is the need for proper assimilation of food. With the presence of the microbes and minerals required for optimum digestive tract function, more food is assimilated and broken down in the digestive tract resulting in larger, healthier fish and larger spawns.

Considering the decreased input of food required and the increased production output, it is a no brainer that it is best maintain this natural balance. Once the microbes and minerals are in the water, the recirculating water system keeps them in the fish's environment for a longer time period, increasing efficiency. It is a win, win situation.

[...] The EPA will continue to study acrolein, a chemical released by vehicles and cigarettes, across the nation. Acrolein levels were not factored in to the U.S. EPA’s nationwide school monitoring results because it was determined that acrolein monitoring is not reliable. Current monitoring methods detect acrolein but not the amount of the chemical, according to the EPA. The chemical was detected at 40 of the 63 schools studied. For more information, click here.
