Adding media to a test question

Many don’t know that one CAN add media to test questions! This option is hidden under “Creation Settings” accesible from a test’s canvas.

  • Add links to Audio files, PDFs, Word docs
  • Display images within the question text (jpg, gif, png)
  • Provide external links (use the text editor or the new options that appear)

Drop a Test Score

If you allow multiple attempts on a quiz, the student’s grade will always default to the most recent attempt. Watch this video to learn how to clear attempts that will not be factored into the grade. The most common purpose of this action is to drop the lowest test score.

Create and Activate a Quiz, Test, Survey

Quizzes, Tests, and Surveys may include true/false, multiple choice, multiple answer, fill in the blank, ordering, matching, and short answer/essay questions. Once submitted, a Quiz or Test is automatically1graded and recorded in the Gradebook. A Survey is recorded only as completed or not completed.
