Hide Grade from Student View
An entire grade column can be hidden from student view. This is helpful if you are gradually updating grades and do not want the grade to be available to the students. Watch this video to learn more.
Change Grade Scale or Schema
You may have to change the grade scale or schema if you use anything other than a 10 point scale (A = 90-100%). This can easily be done by modifying the existing 10 point schema or creating your own.
Organizing Grade Center
The Grade Center layout can be organized by dragging and dropping the columns, similar to Excel. Columns can be frozen to help you keep track of grades while scrolling through the grades (frozen columns only function in Interactive view). You can also Hide or Show various columns, depending on what you want to see in your Grade Center.
Modifying Columns
Each column has a drop down menu which lets you view basic details and modify information for the entire column. You can also hide or remove the column. Keep in mind that any changes you make effects all grades/entries made in that column. Assignment and Test columns have more options.
Assignment Column - Extra features include:
- Assignment File Download (allows you to select multiple assignment files to compress into a single file to download)
- Assignment Cleanup (enables you to remove files in that column. This is helpful if a student uploaded multiple versions of the assignment, but you only need to keep the most recent version)
Test/Quiz Column - Extra features include:
- Attempt Statistics (each question and answer is broken down into a percentage)
- Download Results (results compiled into a file that can be opened in Excel)
- Clear Attempts for all users (various options for clearing attempts. Helpful if you have a test set up for multiple attempts but you only want to keep either the last attempt or the highest score each student achieved.)
