Course Copy and Backup
Copy your Development Shell into your Live Shell
An easy way to copy the exact contents of one shell (such as a development shell) into a new shell (a live course shell) is to use the Course Copy feature in Blackboard. Watch the tutorial below to lean how to use the Course Copy feature. Keep scrolling for instructions on creating a backup of your course.
Create a Backup
At the end of each semester, it’s a good idea to copy the contents of your live course shell into a development shell to make sure you always have access to the most recent version of your course. This adds one extra step, Recycle Course, to the Course Copy process.
Course Availability
By default all courses are set as unavailable until the instructor is ready for the students to have access to it and makes the course available. Watch this tutorial to learn how to make your course available to the students.
