September 28th, 2009 by ejeschkThe first one is a BMW GINA Light Visionary Model. It is a basic frame with a fabric skin over it much like that of all animals but the way the doors open reminds me of a bat’s wings.
The second one is an Ultra AP military vehicle. The way the windows are arranged and the shape of the body immediately made me think of a tarantula.
The third car is a Mazda Kusabi. From boxy design of the front to the way the back opens, this car looks like a whale.
The fourth is the Honda PUYO. The doors open a lot like an insects wings and the car is described as being able to “light up,” so I thought of a firefly/lightning bug.
The fifth is a Mercedes Benz Formula Zero Racer. This car mostly looks like a shark just because of the ridiculous “fin” on top.
The sixth car is by Patrick Clarke, it is a Terrain Adventurer. The long design and the sections where it can turn remind me of a centipede.
The seventh car is a Volkswagon Nanospyder. This design reminds me of a water spider because of the length between the body and the wheels. Also the wheels appear like ripples in the water then the spider moves.
The eighth car is a Renault TWIZY ZE (Zero Emission). There is a slight honeycomb design on the front and that combined with the body design of the car itself reminds me of a bee.
The ninth car is the Peugeot Delta. The designer claims to have designed it after “waves moving over the surface of the sea,” but it really looks like a frog.
The final car is the Peugeot 4002. Its general body design reminded me of scorpion.
